Welcome!
If “Corporate Travel” is your responsibility within your organization – then the Florida Business Travel Association (FBTA) South Florida Chapter is for you!
Our goal is to provide educational and meaningful programs at our business meetings where both the Travel Manager/Buyer as well as Supplier are brought up to speed on changes within our Industry.
Our Education Team prides itself on soliciting speakers that are both NBTA approved and well sought after by many chapters.
Another large benefit expressed by many Travel Procurers who attend our meetings, is the ability to meet and benchmark with other Travel Procurers or meet with Suppliers whom they needed to contact and didn’t realize had a local presence. It is much easier doing business face-to-face and these meetings give you the perfect opportunity to network and exchange valuable information.
The eight meetings held each year (one designated as a full Education Day) are disbursed amongst the three counties – Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. At least 4 meetings a year should be within a 30- mile radius of your offices. Typically meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month, beginning at 11:30am for networking, followed by lunch and our featured speaker, our meetings typically end by 2:00pm. My promise to you is that a couple hours out of the office one day a month will supply you with information that will either make your job a little bit easier or offer a valuable contact that may help you achieve your travel management goals for your organization.
